ABOUT
This November, Colorado voters can ensure continued access to free, nutritious meals made with quality ingredients for all students in public schools by voting YES on Propositions LL and MM.
No child should go hungry because they can’t afford a nutritious meal - Children shouldn’t have to worry about the cost of lunch, or skip a meal because their family can’t afford it. But two out of five families struggle to put food on the table - and, for many children, breakfast or lunch at school is the most nutritious meal they’ll eat all day. By voting yes on LL and MM, we can continue Colorado’s successful Healthy School Meals for All program, which offers free, nutritious school meals to all public school students.

Nutritious ingredients made in Colorado – Voting yes on LL and MM will also ensure our schools have the resources needed to prepare meals from scratch with fresh, nutritious ingredients purchased from Colorado farmers and ranchers, while also increasing wages for the frontline school nutrition professionals that prepare and serve the meals.

Healthy kids perform better at school – Colorado’s Healthy School Meals for All program allows schools to provide more than 600,000 free, nutritious meals to students each day, helping students be more engaged and attentive in the classroom. Voting yes on LL and MM will keep kids fed in school, leading to better grades, higher graduation rates, and better outcomes for Colorado students.

What would a YES vote do?
Voting yes on Proposition LL will allow Colorado to keep money that has already been raised for Healthy School Meals for All. Voting yes on Proposition MM continues free school meals for all beyond December 2025, while also increasing wages for front-line school nutrition professionals, training and equipping schools to use fresh ingredients, instead of processed products, and funding schools to purchase ingredients from Colorado farmers and ranchers. Both LL and MM need to pass to continue Colorado's Healthy School Meals for All program and keep kids fed.
Create sufficient sustainable, long-term funding to fully implement Colorado’s Healthy School Meals for All program. Proposition MM limits state income tax deductions only for people who make $300,000 per year or more. If you make less than $300,000 per year, your taxes will not be affected by either of these ballot measures. These ballot measures do not affect federal taxes of any kind for any Colorado households, regardless of income.
Vote YES on LL and MM
to ensure all Colorado public school students can access free, nutritious meals at school!
